they say you just know it
when you are suffering from
a hangover,
and i guess i did :D

woke up with a splitting headache
but that was quite fine;
it went away after i started eating
breakfast and playing with ah tih
at the same time.

had a fun-filled weekend.

1. zoo outing.

met the gf at amk hub in the morning,
and played mobile worms and
sat together with the ah mas whilst
waiting for her to come.

took 138 to mandai.

was intially kind of du lan
when we saw a lot of animals dozing
around in their areas.

but things started turning around positively
after we passed by the kangeroo area.

then we went to the areas with different kinds
of monkeys hanging around and doing
all sorts of wierd stuffs.

in one corner while others are
happily basking in their harem.

this one is really extreme la.
it looked so sad,
and it just stayed there for ages
in this position,
and i was able to capture a few images of it.

and there was this pelican
which tried eating stones.

we saw a croc which was for deco,
and started fooling around with it.




yours truly,
trying to get his head stuck between the croc's jaws,
much to the amusement to a family
who was watching closely from behind -.-

then we went to the tortoise area.

the gf was fascinated by the golden tortoise,
and so we waited for our turn after a
bunch of kids who was clinging on to the neck
and refusing to let go.

and we passed by this herd of goats,
and saw a lot of people feeding them leaves.

then we actually followed :)

i gave this poor fellow,
or rather,
its poor friend some dead leaves
i found on the ground.



the gf was quite persistent that i feed it
with fresh leaves anyway.

so ya.

and at that polar bear corner,
there was this polar which was covered in
algae or something,
and it was looking so sad.

i actually felt quite sorry for it.

on the way back,
there was this peacock roaming around
aimlessly on the road,
and all the people
(including me)
started getting out their cams
and taking shots of it.

2. edvox music school talento V.

this year's concert was way much
better than last year's,
partly because i am arguably a better violinist
compared to a year ago :D

(i've always maintained that joining band
was one of my most brilliant decisions made
in my life, and aha, see.)

so ya lor,
had a rehearsal in the afternoon before
the concert actually started,
and mr foo was like so pissed off
at the way things were functioning,
so in the end,
a lot of people got told off in one way
or another.

anyway,
i had burger king for dinner,
and almost wanted to get a new pair of black socks,
because the ones i was wearing
were kind of soaked.

so ya,
but i didn't la,
so in the end,
i spent the rest of the day in the soaked pair.

eeww.

the concert itself was quite fine,
but i got too carried away in the last piece,
and actually missed the last few notes
of, Wishing you were here again somehow
(or something like that -.-)


aiya,
fifth position ma,
i'm not that good at it yet.

practice! practice!

the soloists for this year were decent,
but was a bit disappointed that the one
for the Music of the night
was kinf of shaky.

but aiya,
nerves.

oh well.



i want to be soloist too leh.

him: he told me that he would disable
a half of my lungs,
shrink it,
get behind the heart to cut the vein,
and enable my lung again,
then inflate it back.
