1. pre xmas

omg!
i've got a new wife la!

she is german, called Walter Mahr 1
and cost me (or rather, my mum) $1800 (w/o GST)!

ah there,
walter mahr 1,
sitting in its new case :)

the tone is very nice,
i loved its rich and mellow sound,
and the finishing is quite good too,
previous models of walter mahr 1 has
surface flaws on them,
but not mine :D

and comparing the two,
WM1 and my previous 600+ violin
(now officially mistress le.
i am superficial.)
WM1 of course edges out in
terms of appearance also la.

after 3 days of playing,
i thought the G string was spoilt
or something la.

i rushed it back to synwin for checking
again and that person told me
it was fine la -.-

he did some fine-tuning for me anyway,
and changed the tone/volume proportion also.

but anyway,
i am supposed to send it back
during march for reviewing.

ahh.

i want the band fest photos!

playing with holst percussion
was refreshing,
all of them being brilliant musicians :D

and i want the photos! >.<

2. xmas day!

went to church in the morning
for usual xmas service,
then headed down to orchard
to meet the gf to go gai gai :)

and much to my surprise,
there weren't as many people
as i thought there would be la.

but the crowd came around evening/night.
but it was alright,
we were about to leave liao -.-

these were some of the few decos put up
on the road that was blocked for people to roam about.






(one of the reasons i don't like to
take pictures of myself
is simply because i don't like to.

i don't think i look very nice in photos -.-)


the gf got a yellow balloon on our way to PS,
and was holding it around when
we looked around in the shops.

a small kid was kind of terrified by it :)





anyway,
while we were chilling out
at starbucks,
i saw one guy who looked
quite a lot like park ji-sung la.

i was like 0.0 and kept staring at him.

then he walked away -.-


3. boxing day

went to the art museum in the afternoon,
and went to view some exhibition la.

couldn't understand a thing,
and could only walk around
snapping photos of the exhibits randomly.

this photo was quite disturbing.

i was staring and staring at it.





went to watch the chipmunks movie
(finally! :D)

it was quite nice la.
and why alvin must be the cool cool one...

walked around bugis street
and bought ear rings.

they were quite cheap la.

this year's festive season was great,
and i hope next year's would be even better.

provided i don't get into army too soon next year la.
