i am not overjoyed.
and even with Portugal winning
its world cup semi-final fixture over England,
i am not a bit happy about it.
maybe Portugal won the game via penalties,
which is the most desperate and
unglam way to win any football match.
but this is football.
and boo to you,
my football punters friends.
thinking that Brazil is going to bring
you money everytime is a big mistake.
and i mean a BIG MISTAKE.
odds on Brazil winning on the 1X2 is 1.55,
which meant a measly 55 cents
compared to a France win which will bring
a 4 dollars profit for every dollar wagered.
siao right.
and i bet you all must have betted on a Brazil win,
thinking that France are just pushovers.
sorry people,
maybe you all forgot that France won the
world cup in 1998.
maybe you all forgot that France still has
one of the best midfield in the world
with P Vieira and Z Zidane holding the strings in the centre.
maybe you all still forgot that T Henry is a first runner-up
of the World Player of the Year.
maybe you all do not even know such stuff,
thinking that Brazil is a money-generating machine,
which will puff up wins in every match.
well,
serves you all right for your ignorance.
may this match be a lesson to you all.
hooray,
the match ended 1-0,
in France's favour,
thanks to a Theirry Henry strike.
thanks Henry.
thanks for reminding the world that there
is no such thing as sure win in football.
(p.s sorry for being so mean in this entry;
i am just mad at people saying Brazil
"sure-win" one,
without giving a tweeny look at other teams.
anyway,
if they want to bet,
go bet on the EPL or other leagues la.
the world cup has generally one
of the most upsets in the world,
which therefore makes punting difficult.
tsk tsk.
the odds are around the same too.
hmm.)
