someone asked me
if i have watched pirates of the carribbean.
in fact,
almost everyone is asking me that.
and i was like thinking,
very nice meh?!
what the hell!
i told them no,
of course,
since i did not watched the first
movie of the trilogy.
they shot me a dirty look-
never watch the first part also can watch the second one what,
they claimed.
i shrugged.
well,
i am that kind of person
who wants everything to be perfect;
to be in an order.
minus the case of spiderman 2,
when i was dragged by friends
and forced to watch the whole show
while cramming my neck
in order to see the screen
(we sat in the first row mah,
dumb right.
but bo pian la,
no more seats liao.),
i missed lots of movies just because
i did not watch the first installation.
and that applies to the Lord Of The Rings.
Garfield.
Cheaper By The Dozen.
etc etc.
i feel that it is wierd to
watch further episodes of the movie
if i ever missed an episode.
harry potter and his friends
were also not spared too.
i missed The Goblet Of Fire,
and therefore,
i gave up The Prisoner Of Azkaban.
(luckily jw lent me the book,
otherwise i did not even know that
harry had a godfather.)
come'on la.
you must understand what the
story is about before
watching it right.
and that was what i did.
i watched the LOTR 1 on vcd(pirated, shhh),
and holy shit,
it was crap.
in between scenes i could hear people
in the cinema cackling in delight
during a funny scene.
i almost switched off the player in disgust.
bless the guy who smuggled the
camera into the cinema.
i could have done a better job
recording the whole movie in silence.
ahem,
anyway,
i am off to call zhiwei liao,
to see whether if i can borrow
his Pirates Of The Carribean vcd.
just pray that it is not pirated.
